Attorney Vinson has a file that belongs to me and my siblings. He made notes and placed them in that file 10 years ago. He handled my adoption in 1977 and my sister’s in 1979 through the Lutheran Social Services.
My sister found out that Karen Housholder is our birth mother. Attorney Vinson confirmed that. Since then my sister, Amie Parsons, has personally met with Karen in CA where she resides now. Amie and I have taken DNA tests and we have been matched not only with each other, but with our birth mom’s family.
The file that attorney Vinson had has paperwork we need that confirms Karen’s name and signature. We have an older brother who we have met and we are meeting to explain the whole timeline. My file should contain the following: Jeremy Evan Sparks (adopted name) son born of Karen Housholder, 19 years old, May 14, 1977 Fort Bliss Army hospital. Maternal grandmother is Betty Housholder, 42 at the time of my birth. There’s Jeffers from Lutheran services was the case worker for my birth mom and the Lutheran Social Serv. On Diana Street across from the base. Attorney Vinson gave the information to Amie, my sister, who Karen adopted out when she was 21. Now I am requesting my information for myself, my meeting with my mother and brother and sister, my children and so forth. The
Lutheran Services agent has been looking for my file and mentioned that a lot of their records were lost when moving to new location, but that everything should be archived with your firm.
