NOT A LAWYER. Do not waste 3 years of your life on this incompetent "Advocate". If only there were a 0 stars option. In the 2 years leading up to my ALJ hearing he never talked to me once. I tried to setup meetings and he will only meet with you for 30 minutes at the ALJ hearing site 30 minutes before your hearing. I spent loads of time filling out sheets showing all of my appointments over a 3 year period, and on the day of the hearing the judge made it clear that Rutschmann had not submitted evidence of my going to ANY appointments from early 2015 to 2017 (OOPS!). Once I received my decision, it was clear that the judge STILL did not receive full documentation as he stated that I had only been to one of my doctors 5 times in 3 years (a doctor I have seen once every 2 months since 2014. I had seen this doctor 16 times, not 5!). I tried to get ahold of Daryl Rutschmann a total of 2 times in the 3 years that I was his client. 1st time I had to call and leave messages every 3 days for a week and a half. When I was able to talk to him about my ALJ hearing (because he didn't have 2 minutes to talk to me after the hearing was over) He literally was rushing to get off the phone with me after 30 seconds (NO JOKE!). The second time I tried to get ahold of him, I called 2 times and left messages, only to wait 2 weeks to get a letter in the mail. This person is obviously NO advocate. He is just trying to make a quick buck by attaching his name to your case, but will not put ANY real time or effort into getting your case approved. DO NOT WASTE 3 YEARS OF YOUR HARDSHIP AND LIFE ON THIS INCOMPETENT SWINDLER, YOU WILL BE SORRY! I recommend going to someone who will represent you to the fullest rigor, who will not take 1 cent from you until successful results have been attained. There are much better options available in topeka, ks, such as Parmele law, Tilton & Tilton, Dan Lykins at Bryan, Lykins & Hejtmanek, etc. These will all be better representatives who will at least handle your case with a bare minimum of standards and professionalism (They are legally obligated to). Learn from my mistake. You have been warned, if you allow Daryl Rutschmann to represent you, you deserve the results that you get!
