Miss Janis, My name is Debee, I live in Hudson towers on ridge. MHA is my payee. I signed up in Dec. Never heard anything back,I called my case worker for MH, to ask him about this, and when is someone going to let me know how things work, and that I have been out of food since last Thurs, and I am a diabetic. Monday I finally called the dir.myself, and got vm.,was told I am not a customer, and they don't have my money. I called SS, and was told my money went to them at fulton bank in the morning. I left messages that I do not want their services, and send me my money. They refused. As of today they are refusing to send me money for food,phone,etc, plus they are not paying my bills.I heard you were good, and are very passionate about your job. I have called att.Gen, Dept of Health etc. SS tells me in order to get my name back on my acct, I need a drs letter telling them, I am mentally capable of doing my own finances. I volunteerally ask for a payee to make my life easier. Well it is not. So they have my money, can send me a check for food,but not for all my money even if I fire them which I did on Monday when I wasn't even in the system. I said don't put me in the system, send me my money. I have MS, and diabetic on meds, so transportation is a problem, I do not have food.
