Hey, I'am writing from Germany and I am looking forward to come in contact with David R.Purvis. We lost contact to his mother Ruth Purvis and his german relatives would just know if she is o.k. By looking for the adress of David I found out, that his father Robert, called Bob, died in April 10, 2012. We also didn't knew that by now. Please forward this email to David. I am a retired Chicago Public School teacher in my 80's and am trying to assist a former student who is now in his 60's. I reconnected with him in the summer of 2012 when I found him in a Connecticut prison, serving a long sentence. He has since been transferred to a prison in New Mexico.
While in the Connecticut prison, Robin Elliott experienced cruel and unusual punishment, excessive force and deliberate indifference. He has been trying to file suit for several years, serving as his own lawyer. However, before leaving Connecticut, he had a seizure. It has since been determined that he has bleeding on the brain and it has become more difficult for him to follow through on the suit. I would very much like to help him get a lawyer.
His original suit names numerous defendants, but he is willing to cut that number down, so that only the strongest case will be presented. If you will send me an email address, I can send you a copy of the suit. My email address is: gfranchi@sbcglobal.net
If you will consider helping him, it will be an answer to 50 years of praying. When I had him and his brother in my class , I envisioned a poor future for them, due to abusive treatment in a home with many children, many stepfathers and many problems. I kept in touch with him when he moved to Connecticut.
