I was arrested for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after I told them, it was self defense and he told them 5 times that he didn't want to press charges. When I went before the judge that's when I was told what my charges were and when I got my paperwork to go before the judge all the information on the paper belong to someone else. My name was wrong, social number, and my birthdate. I wrote out my statement at the police station and they didn't write down his statement. The officer advice me that I would be going to jail but that I would go before the judge and no charges would be filed since he refused to press charges and he said that his word was more solid than what they had to go on. So then how did I end up with a felony charge? This is my first felony charge but it wasn't intentional and he was really intoxicated and can be aggressive when he's to intoxicated. He went to the hospital but according to his family and himself, it was just a scratch and all he had was a bandage on it. I'm really confused along with scared on how I'm possibly facing 10 years when it was self defense and he told them no 5 times on pressing charges?

yea ma'ma i was trying to gwt ahold of you toask a question i filled out for a court appointed lawyer an they gave me chad jones which is just a newby im needed a lawyer like you that will fight to the end for me and i know your the best lawyer out there. ive seen how you do your joband its amazing . i was hoping you would of taken my case im in need of the most perfect one, an one that cares for there clients an listens to them and fights hard for them an thata you.. if you wint accept me as my court appointed one how much would you possibly charge to defend me. there charging me with burgerlry in the 2bnd degree and knowingly consealed stolen property.. the cops came to my house arrested me for no reason what so ever they went by crack heads that were mad at me that lied about everything even when thw cops showed up i told them they could search the premices but they didnt c@use my sister n law was here when thw cops showed up. theh had me right a statement an then took me two jail anyway they tried to say i was lying which i wasnt they didnt read me my rights, he put the handcuffs on ao tight that it cut threq my skin an now both my thumbs are permely messed up i can hardly use them an there tingly numb down to the end on top of that thwy put me inthw drunk tank for hrs before booking me in an i wasnt intoxicated what so ever then theu finially book me in i asked what for and they said knowingly consealed stolen lroperty when i went to court the charged me with 2 things. i didnt break into anyones house, i never atole anything an they found all the stolen property somewhere el$e along with many othera but so how they didnt charge that girl with anything all because they said if was me who did it an when i got out my sister n law said shes been texting the cops sence then and there treating me like in a CRIMINAL when they know im not guilty her family told me that they was going to say they didnt find it at her house when i have plenty of witnsess that was here when the cops where an what they said.. the question is how much would you charge me to fight my case im on 1 yr probation for a d.u.i.d an i get off in july i got 4 kids that i love an want in my life an to make a better future for them im not going to take thw fall for a crack head that steals all the time gets caught but somehow always gets off im not guilty an i need a strong women like you to help me.. thanks so much
