I signed a lease in September for a townhouse. There have been several issues that I have taken care of personally within the home but my father is ailing and I feel it is better to move in with him so that I can be with him around the clock. I signed the lease for 2 years but with this occurring how can I get out of this lease. Also, while I have been in this home I have cleaned mold off the walls before I moved in, and some other things such as fire alarms were not in working order- (I bought some) windows locks not on them (I bought and put them on) other little things around the house were not in working order in which I did myself to get them fixed. The lease said that everything was in working order-it was not. Regarding the mold that I have cleaned up- I know there is more somewhere around that house whether it is next door or under the floors or in walls because I have been sick every since I moved in. ( I am highly allergic to Mold). How or what should I do in order to try to get out of this home?
