My fater died in 1961 without leaving a will. My mother's attorney served as her attorney, special appointed commissioner, and auctioned off the property. He deeded my father's half of the property to her. The guardian ad litem for the infants under age 21 stated he didn't know what was in the best interest of the children and did not enter a n order the might prejudice their rights. My question is can we come and appeal the verdict. The property was advertise in an out of county newspaper so the heirs would not know when the auction of the property was to take place. My mother was able to withdraw money from to bank accounts without her name being on the accounts and the accounts were in the children's names. She spent the money without paying off the bills. There was numerous conflicts of interest involving her attorney.
