I recently had an appointment with your firm,but was unable to attend. I did send an email to let you know,but im now realizing that the email never made it to you.I was using a friend's laptop and new email address also.That's the only thing I can think of that could have been the cause. My boyfriend and I need legal assistance pertaining to our children.I've not seen my child since November,Shawn has seen his once,very briefly,but we're struggling with out them,it's killing us.He and I have ALWAYS been the main caregivers to our kids,now ,we're being treated as though they aren't even ours.There was DSS involvement,but a letter addressed to the both of us says they completed the investigation and find that our children are not in need of protective services and the case is now closed as substantiated.I'm not even sure what it means.Shawn recently received a drug charge,and instead of the department taking them away,I immediately made arrangements for the kids to be picked up by family members,my son's father picked him up,and a worker asked if he'd supervise visits until further notice.He agreed to do so.I recall asking the worker,"so you're going to punish me for Shawn's crime",her response was"yes ma'am".I HAVEN'T SEEN MY CHILD SINCE! I kept records of my attempts to see my six year old,he changed his number,now I'm just lost. If you would be so kind as to set up another appointment,we'd be so greatful.
