I own my home in Newport, WA. I let a female friend who need help live here while she gets back on her feet. That was supposed to take no more than a year. She has been here for about 5 years now, rent free. I've covered all expenses as far as utility costs and allowed her to live in the upstairs portion of the house.
I decided I wanted to clean up around the house and have it painted. I asked her to clean up her mess (it looks like a dump) several times and she will not comply. So I hired someone to clean up the place for me. She called the Sheriff out because I she does not want the crap thrown away. She is a hoarder and has made my home nearly a living hell to live in.
I want her to leave and she refuses. I need help determining what I can do to get my home back and have her and her things (and there's a lot of stuff that's hers here) removed. My email is tdbarnard@gmail.com. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm frustrated and have no idea what to do.
