first of all do you charge for consults & if so how much? Also, based on what I'm going to tell you, I would like to know if you think I have a case. On 11/28/14 I closed on a home. Less than a year into it, I began to notice that the ceramic floors in the kitchen were cracking, the the floor in the foyer pulled away from the baseboard & began to get "soft". I was finally able to get Fisher Foundation repair & recovery to come take a look to see what the problem was. They went under the house, and at my request, took pics & it is disgusting. The house is sitting on rusted, corroded jacks, there is no insulation in the joists(it's all laying on the ground). The home is financed thru USDA-Rural Development & they have qualifications. I don't believe that this house would qualify. It seems to me that the appraiser should have found this. Also, I hired a home inspector and his inspection did not reveal this either. I feel that this home was completely misrepresented to me. Knowing what I know now, I would never have purchased this home. My questions are, do I have a case? And what are your fees?
