Peter Hoops represents Branford Manor state housing in Groton and will send out multiple eviction notices with out even looking into the file. This has happened to multiple people in the complex and then he tries to bully them into paying for his legal fees even though most of the tenants should not have been served with eviction notices. Keep in mind that these are women in low income housing that are already struggling and even after it is proven that they are up to date on their rent, he still bullies them down to pay him a fee that is more than their rent a month. One of the people that I know personally actually had a credit on their account but Peter still went after them even after the marshal had cleared her with the courts. Stay clear of Peter and his firm as they do not have any moral values or compassion, they are just out for THEIR money. If you want a lawyer that will be thorough with your case and make sure that all their bases are cover then this is not the man for you!
