After consultation, I learned through a former client that he fails to file documents timely, or sometimes not at all. An easy court search yields lawsuits and judgments against him, as well as accepting unauthorized money from clients. He is being evicted from his own office. But the primary reason I did not hire him is that he, a bankruptcy attorney, filed for bankruptcy himself.

Beware of this attorney. He is not competent to practice bankruptcy law, or any type of law. He admitted to me that he has suffered from "personal" problems for a long time and that he was drinking a lot. I would ask around to other bankruptcy attorneys before hiring Jeff Alandt.

Dear Jeff, I have tried repeatedly to get ahold of you regarding a refund of the money I paid you for services not received. I have since hired another Atourney, who has been able to do in less than a month what you could not accomplish in nine months. I received bad legal advice from your para legal Kenneth, of wich has now cost me an excess of $10,000.00. I trusted you to handle my affairs quickly as I was promised, but it has drug on so long and cost me more money than I can afford. I am only asking for what I paid you to be returned as the service was not provided. You have my phone number and may call me at anytime to let me know when the check will be mailed or ready to be picked up. If I do not hear from by the end of the week I will be forced to contact the bar association to see what other recourse I have. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter, William Fogarty.

If you have hired Jeffery Alandt I strongly advise asking for your money back and hiring legal representation, I have been forced to do so. I advise looking Kenneth Watson up on 13th circuit criminal index, you'll be shocked, I was. I also advise contacting "state of michigan attorney grievance commission. on bth the 22nd and 29th of june I was at your office for my scheduled appt. and both times the office was locked and dark. I find this absolutely intollerable. I don't live in traverse city, I have to drive 30 miles to get there, a giant waste of my time and money. I thought it was just me until I met another of your clients at your locked door. I am leaving for florida, 7-1-16 and returning on 8-7-16. today you would have had all my paperwork to proceed, gods know you have my money. I am moving to florida in january, 2017 and I refuse to be held up because you do not know how to run your practice. if I was so inconsiderate at my job I would fully expect to be fired immediately. you have my phone number and email and did not attempt to contact me either time. all I can say at this point is that I expect to hear froom you very soon, because there is a world wide web I can access at anytime. sincerely, lisa parkinson
