I settled a worker compernsation case about a year ago. I also was a whistleblower that never received my percentage for blowing the whistle. My main concern now is that I was refused to falsify logs and was assaulted by co-worker. I have been disabled ever since that date which was 3-16-2001. I need a lawyer to look at my case for intentional negligence against the employer which is located in springfield, Missouri. I am having to pay for co-payments to see the doctor which is related to the injury substained on the job. The employer was investigated by the department of Transportation and my complaint was legit. The attorney representing me waited until settlement begin and withdrew from my case. I had to hire an attorney from Georgia to settle my claim but majority of my settlement went towards the Missouri lawyer who held my case for over 8 years. My main concern is that the company should pay me for pain and suffering, because I had two sons that lived with me the whole time I was injured and they were aware of the co-worker falsifying logs before I begin training with him. The investigation prove that he was falsifying logs before I got in the truck and during I was in the truck with him. I refuse to falsify logs so he attack me in cobb county, Georgia, fractured my nose caused and concussion and I tore ligaments and tendon in I fell out of the truck. I had bulging disc in my neck and back behind falling out of the cab of the truck. I also received victims compensation behind the injury and the only way they would pay was if he was at fault and I was working at the time of the injury.
