My mother-in-law Mrs. Marie O. Collins passed away two -three weeks ago. My husband Charles M. Collins is deceased and I was asked for his death certificate by my sister-in-law. I asked her why, but she would not tell me why she needed it. I think you may be the attorney for Mrs. Collins. My husband had always told me that Mark Collins (his little brother) was the executer of the estate, which he was very happy about. I have a feeling that Maureen had Mrs. Collins change her will within the last 2 years.
My question is why do you need my husband's death certificate? Is Mark still the executer? If not when was that changed? Mrs. Marie Collins has been getting more confused, so if the will has been changed is it valid?
