We live at 773 Concourse Village Bx.
Yesterday 6/17 my son's mother and I were returning from dropping off her sister at Laguardia Airport. At the intersection of 9th Street and the service road to Grand Central Pkwy west, the other car ran a red light and hit my car on the front passenger side. There is a witness. A lady that works for the port authority stopped her vehicle to ask if we were ok. She indicated to me and to the police on the scene that the other diver ran the red light. The person driving the other vehicle actually asked the officer if they could leave because they were rushing to catch a flight. The police used a f word to describe his displeasure at the suggestion. My son's mother was taken to Elmhurst hospital and this morning I am having a pain from my lower back down the back and side of my leg. I have liability insurance for my car that was totaled.
