I am paying mortgage every month ( early ) but am having a problem with mortgage paying insurance , which is in my payment. we had issues with insurance prior because the first two insurance companies told me they could inspect home on weekends when I am home ( I drive truck and only home on weekends ) , but then when time came to inspect home then they couldn't inspect home on weekend. Finally Statefarm actually kept their end of deal and inspected home on weekend but now mortgage wont pay insurance but keep stating insurance is paid when I inquire . also my wife is suppose to be on deed , again insurance says she is on deed yet we have official document not showing her on deed . Insurance payment is built into mortgage payment every month . Don't know how to proceed to keep insurance . really cant do nothing until May 11th because we are about to take first vacation ever ( will be in England from April 30th till May 9th ) , can really use some advice as we have been in recent contact with a new mortgage company but really cant start process till we return from vacation . How do we protect our home ? Do we pay insurance ourselves or is it Mortgage companies responsibility to pay insurance that is built into our mortgage payment ?
