Earlier this year I told my employer I had to have knee replacement surgery and depending on the outcome I might retire at the end of the year. I did not give written notice just this comment made during a discussion about this surgery. I am 64 year old. The surgery went very well and my recovery has been excellent. Due to my recovery I would have worked for at least another year. While on medical leave I worked from home completing my responsibilities by using a program called Team Viewer and communicating via e-mail and phone calls. Within two weeks of starting medical leave my boss hired a woman to replace me and then told me to start training her via the Team Viewer Program. She was given my title and a higher pay rate.This woman is a long time friend and a member of his church. I was dismissed on 10/06/14 with the excuse that I would not train her. WRONG! I am now appealing unemployment which he has tried denying me. He has done other things to me over the last 5 years but that is another story for another day. Does this constitute action on my part? Is this discrimination on any level?

I got hurt on job over 3 weeks ago.. saw my doctor have a concussion. Workmen comp said I have to see there doctors now feeling better need to work as no money but workmans comp said my doctor can't treat me or release me.. they didn't even send me a list of doctors to pick from until Wednesday night. Said my doctor can't release me to go to work an are not gonna pay my doctor! Havnt got one cent for loss of work.. do I have to go to there doctors which will be most likely another week without work!!
