Found out 2 weeks ago that my taxes for 2013 had not been paid by Trust Department at First National Bank FS. IRS had been sending me statements for months of May, June, July , August, Sept, Oct, November 2013. NONE of which did I receive from USPS. I had been out of town the month of April 2013 and thought all taxes had been handled electronically. Now the IRS wants $23,000+ in penalties and interest. I paid the $175,000+ the minute I found out it hadn't been paid. I filed a formal complaint with USPS because I had not received my mail. I sent in payment to IRS with a letter asking for help with the tax abatement but I suspect I need help.
