I have friends that manage a hotel in holbrook. They took in a lady and her pets for reduced rate. Her husband died in January this year, she had heart surgery this year. She has a neighbor dispute or something so she is leasing her property to someone to buy for just the mortgage. She has medical she can't pay, she can't get a doctor to prescribe medication. She is severely depressed and in bad shape. Is there anything that can be done? I just feel so horrible that people h a 've to live like this. Her phone is shut off, my friends are doing what they can and she is sometimes bit cranky, but she is so sad and has no medication for her heart or depression. Any ideas?

In September of this year I was injured on the job while being employed at Best Buy. I was injured on the 9th, saw a doctor and was released back to work on the 10th and on the 11th I reported the injury to my boss. Upon filing the workers comp claim, the store manager immediately began yelling at me, scolding me for not reporting the injury sooner. He also harassed me verbally by telling me that I'm screwed, workers comp wouldn't pay for my injury repair and that I would end up owing a lot of money. My workers compensation claim was eventually approved and I had surgery to repair my injury, everything has been paid for and taken care of. Not long after my claim was approved Best Buy fired me without any cause or reason. So, I would like to pursue a lawsuit against Best Buy for firing me out of retaliation for getting injured on the job and filing a workers compensation claim.
I would like to know if I have a Case of Retaliation by Employer for injury on the job and filing for Workers Comp.
