Hello, my name is Ashley Van Vliet. Brian Carlin has represented my boyfriend Steven Finney in drug court. Yesterday 12/3/2015, he was sentenced to his term and not given another chance on drug court on his only 2nd violation, however back in September "drug court" gave him a 90day sanction and told him he would be home on December 9th2015. Then they decide to throw him off the program. Why did they not just throw him off the program in September? Why did they make him think, his family and myself his current pregnant girlfriend think he was only given a sanction? I am due at the end of May. If I had know A couple of months ago when I was early in my Pregnancy he would be looking at this kind of time i may have chosen a diffrent path for me and this pregnancy. I am partially disabled and we both thought he would be out in plenty of time to support me thru the rest of the Pregnancy and birth of the child. I have a stable home in Wappinger's falls that originally probation said was fine for him to come here . why was there such a sudden change of events at drug court on 12/3/2015? My number is 8455188986. I would really appreciate to hear from someone even if for 5minutes to let me know if there is anything to be done. Steven has told me he doesn't really want to appeal it because it will take a long time. And he is hoping if he gets transferred to Downstate he may be eligible for shock because he is a non violent offender. Please I just need a piece of mind. I am pregnant alone and facing alot of time now with Steven Finney. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from Mr.Carlin to just go over what happened in court that day
