I don't like frivilous lawsuits and don't see my request as such. I've been told that timing is against me concerning my Medical Malpractice Issue. I was given a Bronchology (sp) Surgery on Dec. 1, 2014 and now I'm suffering with a narrowing Trachea! I'm on a breathing treatment regimen twice a day and taking Mucinex E to keep mucus thin enough for me to expel. Before the surgery, I crossed out and initialed a portion of the Waiver against not being able to file a lawsuit for damages. The doctor in question was constantly saying how it was too late as he would state possible causes to my condition. Looks like he may have been right since I'm having a difficult time to find an Attorney willing to fight against the Powers that be to get me justice!!! What makes it even more depressing is that, I notified the doctor's office soon enough to be within the time frame and they told me they hadn't received my message because they installed a new telephone system and missed my recorded message I'd left...if they can't prove they installed a new phone system...what can that mean?! In case you're wondering...the doctor's name is: Andrew LaBelle, St. Lukes Hospital.
