Can you give me a rough idea of how much it would cost to set up a Revocable Living Trust for a friend of mine? (I look after her finances for her.) She does not have a great deal of money but I think it would be advisable to put her home in a Trust and later, her CDs as they mature. She has made some big financial mistakes in her life and both I and her son are concerned that since she is a very trusting person, she may be talked into making unwise decisions by people who do not necessarily have her welfare at heart. She has a will but it is out of date. She has 1 son and 2 grandchildren. The only thing to be decided upon is who would be the joint trustee (either her son or myself) as the main purpose is to make her unable to make any significant financial decisions on her own. She is in full agreement with all of this.
