Dan it was good to see you the other day, I completely forgot you were a lawyer now. I have a question regarding a job I'm doing in bonnet Shores right now, I'm a contractor. my father passed away in 2001 my stepmother passed two yrs ago my fathers and stepmothers will stated that the house was to be sold and split between my sister and I and the stepsister well soon after dad passed the step mother quick deeded the house to her daughter our step sibling so not a thing was ever done with the will and the step sister apparently owns the house we were never given the option or asked if we would like his things that are important to us you see we didn't want to appear pushy with the step mother. The step sister is the executrix and to this day hasn't done not a thing with the will. The deed is written that I guess the house go to the spouse when which ever died first. My question is do we have any sort of legal recourse and can I file a civil suit to obtain my fathers things. His things don't have any meaning to the step sister I'm so tired stressing over this it had caused us a lot of undue pain. Thank You lynn Underwood
