On sept 19, 2104 the front door, door know, broke and had to be replace. I replaced the door know and reported it to the management company.
The back door does not latch properly and has not since moving in.
On Oct 1 when the rent was paid we reported it to the NEW management company.
On Nov 1st we reported it again to the same, Keller Williams.
ON Dec 1st we reported it to the NEWEST management company. Llano Estacado.
I called them and was told I had to enter the request on their web site. I did that on the 2nd of Dec.
On Dec 14th, I submitted a second maintenance request for the same issue and have only gotten complaining emails from the management company.
I did speak to the manager for the NEWEST management company, prior to submitting the maintenance request. He told me that we would have to wait until the rent payments came in so they would have the money to make repairs.

There are several tenants in the same trailer park that are having similar issues.
There is a maintenance being conducted on vacant trailers.
I dont think that anything I can say to the management company will get them to fix the doors and install working smoke detectors. The door is broken such that the latch cannot be fastened to the door itself so it is duct taped in place.

I need to know my next steps and if I have complied with the law requirements such that I can petition the courts to compel the landlord to make the repairs.
