Hello my name is Hussein. I am emailing on behalf of my wife who is the power of attorney of her brother, his wife, their 2 born children and one unborn child. Last December 2016 my brother's​ wife had a very serious car accident. She was driving eastbound on a green light when a taxi driver was speeding and proceeded to run a red light. He caused a major collision involving my sister in law and 2 other vehicles. Their children were in the vehicle at the time. The taxi hit her side of the vehicle so hard it knocked her vehicle sideways causing her vehicle to hit another car and that car colided with another car. She survived the accident but is now suffering from a severe brain injury as a result of the accident. She is unable to talk, walk or take care of herself. My wife and I are taking care of her full time. Her 2 living children were ages 4 and 6. Her 4 year old son passed away due to severe brain trauma and their 6 year old daughter survived but lost her leg as it was crushed in the accident. Their 7 month unborn baby passed away due to the accident as well. The at fault driver was found to be the cab driver. After the accident her husband had a severe mental breakdown and is currently hospitalized under the care of a psyciatrist and has been deemed mentally unstable and unable to make decisons for himself or his family. We are also caring for their daughter as well. Our sister in law may have survived the accident but she lost her life as she is no longer able to do anything including the nessessary things to care for herself. A once very happy healthy family is now forever broken and lost. We didnt want to have to ask for help as my wife and I are very independant and try to do everything on our own. With that being said we just found out my wife is pregnant and we also have a 5 year old with severe ADHD and need to come to terms of needing legal help as we are head over heals and paying everything out of pocket. So we are reaching out to lawyers to make a settlement case for them both to help with the cost of things.
