I know you have seen and heard all types of things in your life time, but have you ever experienced anything that comes close to my story? I told a white man that his mother has “Jungle Fever” and I was put in prison for this. You may feel like I am telling this story from one side, but I can promise you that this is not a one sided story. Below are a few things that I am experiencing in my town; please tell me how to fight back and file a civil suit?
Recently I received a letter from the town of Mt. Olive stating that I am not to enter any of their buildings that they own or rent. This is because I told Danny Keel, the building inspector, that his mother has "Jungle Fever" which occurred seven years ago (2006). I lost my state job behind this, and when I appealed to get my job back, the town of Mt. Olive was at the hearing to make sure that I did not get my job back (January 2, 2013). Ask yourself the question what does the town of Mt. Olive has to do with me getting my job back. The answer is they were trying to stop me from building my building and they knew as long as I am not working there is no way that I can afford to build. My building is no small building; if you were to see it you would think it was a house. My building is 1500 square feet and when I finish it will be 3000 square feet. Six years ago Danny Keel informed the court that "Jungle Fever" mint that I was going to rape his mother and he said he saw the movie Jungle fever which had nothing to do with rape. I went to prison for this; During the year 2013 (the appeal process to get my job back) a state Judge looked at the matter and ruled that this situation was not about rape nor stalking it was a simple dispute between the town and Cherron Wooten. After Judge Overbee (the state Judge) ruled in my favor for me to be rehired after four years; the town of Mt. Olive then sent me a letter to never enter any building that they own or rent. This letter has made it clear that they are going to continue to harass me.
Also I drew some building plans about six years ago; the town of Mt. Olive failed them. I took these same plans to an engineer and the engineer said there was nothing wrong with the plans. The engineer wrote a letter stating that there was nothing wrong with the plans. I still have a copy of the engineer’s letter.
Another incident happened at least twenty years ago the town had tons and tons of wood from where they cut down some trees. To keep from having to pay the landfill they dumped the wood on my two acres of land; making the land unusable, snake infested and rat infested. My father in law could no longer use the land to farm.
Another incident my wife caught the town of Mt. Olive taking extra money out of our bank account; she brought this to the town manager attention. He refused to stop taking the money out of our account. I called him and left him a voice message that I was headed to get a warrant for his arrest. He immediately called my wife and refunded the money. If the town was stealing money out of my account, I guarantee you that they are doing the same to others.
Another incident; six years ago I started building a building in my yard. Having the city to connect my sewer pipes and water line cost $800.00; I had everything in progress; I had already paid for the permit and everything else that needed to be done; when It came time for me to get my sewer pipes hooked up the town purposely raised the price from $800 to $30000. The town has been doing everything in their power to stop my building.
Black people in the town of Mt. Olive are afraid to speak up because the town has been getting away with criminal activity for years. This letter that you are reading right now I was put into prison for letters just like this. Although my letters went to other people in the community like yourself, and was informing people's like you of the town’s criminal activity; I was charged with stalking even though the letters went to others and even though the building inspector testified that the letters were of no threat. I have the court transcript to prove that the plaintiff, Danny Keel, (the building inspector) testified that the letters were of no threat. He said the only threat was me saying that his mother has “Jungle Fever”. I do not know anything about his mother and there is that possibility that his mother was not alive at that time. If someone told me that my mother has Jungle fever, I cannot have them put in prison. Just a few days ago on the view Arsenio Hall told Barbra Walter that she has Jungle Fever. She did not feel threaten or stalked; she took it as a compliment.
At this present time Danny Keel(the building inspector) follows me around town with a video camera for no reason. Danny Keel told the state judge (Judge Overbee) that when I see him I blow my horn. I have proof that my car has no horn. I have documentation that allows me to bypass vehicle inspection because my vehicle will not pass inspection. My vehicle has no horn. The town attorney told the state judge (Judge Overbee) that every time I see him, I say Hay! Hay! Hay!. I know you cannot believe what you are reading and I know that this sounds stupid.
Another incident involved the power company progress energy. I applied for a permit to have my electrical panel box changed in my home. The main power line bringing power into my home, my electrician cut this line on purpose to stop the electricity from flowing into my home until the he could finish updating my electric panel box from 100 amps to 200 amps. After passing Danny Keels inspection and upon completing the job he had to tape and clamp the main outside power lines back together. He told me that this was only temporary and that I must notify the inspector so that the inspector has to call progress energy (the light company) to fix the wire. I went to the inspector over and over and over for several months; he kept pretending that he was going to call the power company; but he knew that the power line would come apart leaving me without power and in the cold or would set my home on fire. I called the power company several times and they informed me that they could not fix the wire until the inspector called to have it fixed. This went on for at least two to three months. The town manager and mayor refused to do anything. I went to News Argus (local paper) and told my story; the person that I spoke with immediately picked up the phone and called the town manager. As I was standing there he told the town manage, that if the problem did not get fix, he was going to publish the story in the paper. Two days later my power line was fixed by progress energy. Progress Energy was aware that Danny Keel was harassing me and therefore they sent me a letter of how long it took him to call and request the electrical repair.
Here is another incident that involved the superior court judge. Judge Arnold Jones and I had fallen out many years before he became the judge. He used this situation to get me back for our dispute many years ago. When I first went to prison one of the prisoners listen to my story and told me that I could be released from prison by appealing my case. I did this; I had to go back before Arnold Jones and he order that I had to pay $10,000 cash money. There is no such thing as have to pay cash money to get out on bond for a case such as mine. Judge Arnold Jones ordered the magistrate to make me pay the full cash price. The magistrate knew that Arnold Jones was in the wrong; therefore he wrote me a note informing me that he had nothing to do with the cash payment; he said that this was all judge Arnold Jones doing. I think I still have the note.
Here is a little about myself. I am working on my Master's degree to become a license mental health counselor. I have never been to a party in my life, I have never been to a club in my life, I have never smoked nor drank in my entire life. I had no criminal record but yet I was sent to prison for 60 days. Because of this false stalking charge, I am not able to get a job. I have been unemployed for four years. I had to file for bankruptcy to keep from losing my home.
I have a solid case and I have all types of evidence to prove my case. The fact that judge Overbee put in writing that this was only a dispute between the town of Mt. Olive and Cherron Wooten; this is an indication from an unbiased judge that my case had nothing to do with stalking. I want a civil suit filed and I want a motion for appropriate relief done. What will it cost me, just to fill out the paper work for the civil suit in order to keep the statute of limitation from running out.
