Shannon Blum asked a question

How do I make a formal complaint about a court appointed Guardian? I am the owner of a homecare business, I have been servicing a client since September. APS got involved and we went to court the Judge ordered 24 hour care for my client and appointed a guardian. The guardian pulled my agency and put some other agency in with the client. The family issued no complaints about my agency before the guardian took over.

Deborah Murphy asked a question

Who pays a Court appointed GAL's fees and what are the normal/reasonable fees? What if the person who the GAL was appointed for by the Court does not have a large estate and their bill uses at least 3 months of assisted living costs? Just what authorities does a GAL have? I pulled up the Guardian handbook however this GAL says that he can't do any of that and now there are two more people who have been appointed by the Court, a guardian and a conservator that also have to be paid and where is all this money coming from? Can these costs be given to the person who has been causing all the problems instead of the respondent?
