I believe you to be the attorney who represented my father several years ago. I'm wondering if I could get some legal advice or a free consultation if worth pursuing, very soon. I purchased a car less than two weeks ago and it has already broke down. I was on the free way so scared the clutch gave out so got it towed to the dealer, they ran diagnostic and it needs a new clutch. I was told I wore it out. I driven manual for many years never had a problem but a brand new car to me due to it has over 10,000 miles only and its a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta. I'm told I have to pay out of pocket $1485 to replace. I feel so strongly I was falsely informed this was a durable, well made car that although consider used that it had new parts. I feel that after having it less than two weeks, hardly drove it I could not have burned out the clutch it had to be on its way out when they sold it to me. The salesman informed me that not only am I getting a reliable car but a long lasting. I believed it! I need help due to they are telling me not only did I burn the clutch it's showing that I'm a first time manual driver is why. I'm so stunned by this I'm 38 years old driven for over 20 years manual cars have been in my family for years. I'm not an expert but I don't believe this is my problem especially since I've only had in less than two weeks. There is no way I burned out the clutch where it has to be replaced, it was on its way out I had the misfortune to get a defective car. Please help me understand my rights. I feel they should replace it, or get me out of my contract, get my old car back so I may go somewhere else. Thank you for your time and help in advance.
