Julie, I did not leave my check Friday for the divorce. I wanted to contact the reversed mortgage people because I wanted to be sure that this is the way that I wanted to go. I want to be able to pay him off and then do a reverse mortgage so I can have some money to fall back on. I talked to the lady about it, and I also talked with one of my friend’s son who is a President of a bank. He says that there is bad ones and good ones, but since they are FHA protected, he thinks they are pretty good. I would also like to talk to the Attorney that you know about them.

Also, I was wondering if I should file a legal separation or a divorce. I would just like to stay on his insurance till September when I can get medicare and you said that you think this could be done. Whichever one you think is the best I will do. If I file legal separation, I do not know if he will come back and file divorce. I cannot take it here anymore. I am going to have a nervous breakdown and I could kick my ass that I did not go ahead with it last time. Nothing is ever going to change.

He stated that he would not get an attorney but I am sure that he will. Please let me know what you think. I will be in this week and pay my money and to get this started. If you could let me know the name of the attorney on the reverse mortgage, I would appreciate it. I hope that I don’t have to give him 1/2 of the house less the $25,000 that I paid off. If I do, maybe I can pay him a lump sum and then pay monthly or something. I have been a nervous wreck about this. I know that I just need enough money to make it.
