My son, Christopher T. Brown, has had to live with us, his parents, for the past year due to his disability of severe RA. He has been trying to get his disability since June 2013 and just recently received it with the help of Mr. Hudson, County Rep. He received a notice of Levy on his new bank account dated 9/2/14 for child support. We have been supporting him fully by feeding, clothing, housing, and payment his medical bills for the last year. I cannot believe that you put a lien on these monies when he was willing to establish payment via the court based on his disability payments. He needs the monies given to him by SS to find housing, food, and a car to maintain some independence from us. How is it even legal to confiscate government funds (Neighborhood Economic Development Advocacy Project) for his disability?
