I have a Chevrolet Malibu year 2005 on a recall list I just found out last week that it is on a recall list on 9/8/2010 my car stalled on a train track in kinder LA I had heavy things on my keychain and when my car stopped opn the track I was hitting on the gas peddle and hit the ignition switch which killed the engine I was hit by a union pacific train and almost lost my life. I have an injury that I will have to live with for the rest of my life I was never sent a letter. I was told that if the airbag deployed the car was still on. that is not true I saw on the gm website that the airbag may or may not deploy ,my car engine was dead and the only reason I am still alive is because right before the train hit in front of my driver side I took my seat belt off and opened the door that is when it hit my car. I had neck problems to this day I have a plate in my neck to keep it stable, my spleen was removed , I had contusions on my head and to this day stutter, the neurologist that I was seeing did not diagnose my arm properly, ,so I went to see my pcp and had little range of motion . I went through physical therapy, but was told that I will always have hurt in my right shoulder because if they would have found the problem at the hospital they could have operated on my arm and the problem would have been solved . So now I have to live with it. I am going to see another orthopedic surgeon this week to find out what is going on with it now.My neck always hurts They put a tectonic plate in.
